The leaf blower would be much more efficient in parallel mode if instead of turning and moving back to another leg and then start blowing again, just run in reverses with the blower going.    Just back and forth, forward and reverse. 

This would reduce the time to blow the leaves and be more efficient.  With cameras on the front and back it should be ok, especially once they have enabled obstacle detection
