Signal line to dock

I love the new era of gps navigated devices. But one problem is that I have to keep the base station in open sky, and where its out of the way, and have access to power...

A nice solution would be to add a signal line that you could fasten to the center of the base station and then "locate" the end of the line. When Yarbo returns it locates the end of the signa line and then follows it to the base station. That way I could have my basestation under a roof or closer to a wall etc.
I know its kinda late to suggest now, but i assume that Yarbo already have some sensors on its underside, judging from the behavior when it docks, so perhaps its not impossible to build an external unit that we can purchase after hand.

PS some home assistant integration to signal / wait for, a carport and my Yarbo would be warm and cosy too DS
