Variable width "sidewalk"
I've been pushing for a variable width sidewalk. There are a couple scenarios where this would be handy. The latest is, I have a long and windy driveway with ditches on either side. If I outline the driveway as an area, I have to choose either straight or circular paths. Straight doesn't follow the curve of the driveway, and circular tries to start in the middle of the driveway curve. This always results in Yarbo accidentally dropping a track into the ditch and getting stuck. No Beuno.
I am considering making 5 or 6 parallel "sidewalks" along the driveway to clear it, but you can imagine it will be difficult to get each sidewalk nice and parallel. It would be so much nicer to add a "width factor" to the existing sidewalks. 1.5 would be equivalent to 1.5 Yarbo widths, so probably two passes, down and back. For my example, I could set it to maybe 4-ish to get the correct coverage. I would just drive Yarbo down the center of the driveway one time for programming. I could also just designate one side for throwing direction, rather than a side for each individual side-by-side "sidewalk".
The likely biggest application is probably just clearing sidewalks that are wider than Yarbo, which is all of my sidewalks. I'd probably go with 1.4-1.6 width.
My question is, would anyone else want this feature? Maybe if enough people want it, they will implement it.
