The plug has an obvious "Push" label on the connector lock, but this does not seem to engage when I post the plug into the socket.

There doesn't seem to be any debris or snow on either the plug or the socket, but I'm concerned that it's not engaging.

The machine does power up, and says it's charging, but the app doesn't show a charge level above 0%.

Is there a trick to getting the plug to engage?
