What Is a No-Vision Zone?

As the name suggests, a No-Vision Zone is an area where the camera-based obstacle detection is disabled. This means that within this zone, your Yarbo lawn mower will not use its cameras to detect or bypass obstacles.

When Should You Use It?

If you notice that your Yarbo lawn mower is avoiding areas that are actually safe to mow, you can mark those areas as No-Vision Zones to allow the mower to operate normally.

Yarbo uses advanced image segmentation technology to detect and avoid obstacles. However, in some cases, the camera might misidentify safe areas—such as shadows or certain textures—as obstacles, causing the mower to avoid them unnecessarily. In such cases, a No-Vision Zone can be a helpful solution.

Important: Please ensure that all areas marked as No-Vision Zones are safe, as camera-based obstacle avoidance will be disabled within these zones.

How to Create a No-Vision Zone

  1. Go to the Edit Map page.

  2. Tap Create, then select No-Vision Zone.

  3. You have two options:

  • Manually drive your Yarbo to outline the zone.

  • Use a preset template for quicker setup.
