Under normal circumstances, the map within the app should accurately reflect Yarbo's relative position in the real environment. However, there may be instances where GPS signal instability causes a discrepancy between Yarbo's displayed position on the app and its actual location in the real world.
Example of issues:
There's a map drift issue with the bot in the app; however, the bot is accurately stopped at the docking station.
Here are some suggestions to address this issue:
- Check GPS Signal Strength: Ensure that Yarbo is operating in an area with strong GPS signal coverage. Weak signals can lead to inaccuracies in positioning.
- Reinstall Data Center: Reinstall data center to refresh the coordination system.
Reinstall Data Center:
When you reinstall the Data Center, any existing maps will be deleted.
- Initiate Reinstall Data Center
Go to the Settings page in the app, select Reinstall Data Center, and confirm Data Center Relocation to begin the process.
Main page -> Setting -> Reinstall Data Center
- Secure the Location
Once you’ve identified the new location, secure the Data Center as per the installation guidelines to maintain an ideal operating environment.
Finalize and Initialize
After securely installing the Data Center at its location, please follow these steps to complete the initialization process:
- Open the Yarbo app on your device.
- Tap the Initialize button within the app.
This final step ensures that Yarbo recognizes the new setup and is prepared for optimal operation.
By taking these steps, you can work towards ensuring that the app's map more accurately represents Yarbo's true position, reducing the impact of GPS signal instability.
If the problem continues, contact Yarbo's customer support. They can offer further assistance and may be able to provide a solution or identify if there's a hardware issue.
