[2024] Yarbo Position Misaligned with the Map

Under normal circumstances, the map within the app should accurately reflect Yarbo's relative position in the real environment. However, there may be instances where GPS signal instability causes a discrepancy between Yarbo's displayed position on the app and its actual location in the real world.

Example of issues:

There's a map drift issue with the bot in the app; however, the bot is accurately stopped at the docking station.

Here are some suggestions to address this issue:

  1. Check GPS Signal Strength: Ensure that Yarbo is operating in an area with strong GPS signal coverage. Weak signals can lead to inaccuracies in positioning.
  2. Correct Map Drift: Click on the "Correct Map Drift" button to automatically correct map drift.

How to Correct Map Drift:

  1. Make Sure Your Yarbo is Parked Accurately on the Docking Station If map drift occurs, you will need to manually maneuver your Yarbo. you will need to park your Yarbo exactly on the Docking Station.
  1. Operating on the Yarbo APP You can go to the “My Yard” map, find the settings option and select the “Correct Map Drift” option. Click on it and wait for a while, your Yarbo will correct the map automatically!

By taking these steps, you can work towards ensuring that the app's map more accurately represents Yarbo's true position.

If the problem continues, contact Yarbo's customer support. They can offer further assistance and may be able to provide a solution or identify if there's a hardware issue.
