【Must Read】Safety Guidelines about Yarbo

Product Usage

For the safety of yourself and your property during product usage, please adhere to the following guidelines:

WARNING:

  1. Keep Away from Children: Never allow children to operate the product.
  2. Adult Supervision: Only let adults operate the product with proper instruction or training.
  3. Use Designated Charger: Only use the charger provided with the product for charging.
  4. Intended Purpose: Never use the product for purposes other than its intended use.
  5. Supervised Operation: An authorized and trained person must supervise the operation when Yarbo is in use.
  6. Prohibited Actions and Operational Precautions: Prohibit users from touching the sensors near the side cameras.

CAUTION:

  1. Operational Supervision: Allow the product to operate autonomously only under supervision.
  2. Read the Manual: Ensure the operator reads and understands everything in the manual.


Before and After Every Operation

WARNING:

  1. Visual Supervision: Operate Yarbo only where you can visually supervise its operation.
  2. Clear Working Area: Remove obstacles and objects, such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or string, that may damage the product in the working area.
  3. Safe Working Conditions: Ensure the working area is suitable for the product's operation.
  4. Protective Gear: Wear suitable clothes and personal protective equipment, including safety goggles.
  5. Functionality Check: Check if the product, especially the cameras, functions well.
  6. Safety First: Do not use the product if broken parts or malfunctions are detected.

CAUTION:

  1. Regular Maintenance: Perform proper maintenance as per the User Manual instructions.
  2. Regulations Awareness: Understand local regulations on snow-removing devices.
  3. Label Maintenance: Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels as necessary.
  4. Avoid Uneven Surfaces: Do not operate Yarbo on gravel or uneven surfaces.
  5. Gentle Cleaning: Clean Yarbo with care, avoiding corrosive cleaning liquids or coarse fabrics, especially when cleaning the cameras.
  6. Docking Station Care: Do not step on or place heavy objects on the Docking Station.
  7. Cold Weather Precaution: Do not touch Yarbo with bare hands in extreme cold weather.

During Every Operation 

DANGER:

  1. Safety Shutdown: Shut down Yarbo before cleaning a clogged discharge chute.
  2. Tool Usage: Use the tools provided in the package to clean a clogged discharge; never use your hand or foot.
  3. Severe Safety Concern: Keep hands away from the Auger and Impeller, treating the product as always ready to work.

WARNING:

  1. Safe Distance: Ensure all adults, children, and pets maintain a safe distance of at least 100 feet from the working area.
  2. Constant Supervision: An authorized and trained person must always supervise the operation.
  3. Operator Condition: Do not operate Yarbo under the influence of alcohol, medicine, or illness.
  4. Body Safety: Do not place any body parts under the robot.
  5. Snow Disposal: Avoid throwing snow towards vehicles, buildings, roads, or areas with people and pets.
  6. Avoid Weak Surfaces: Do not stack snow thrown onto weak surfaces like wooden roofs and bushes.
  7. Fire Safety: Never use Yarbo near fires, fireplaces, hot ashes, or barbecue pits.
  8. Vibration Warning: If Yarbo vibrates abnormally, stop the operation, press the emergency stop button, and check for the cause.
  9. No Sitting or Stepping: Do not step or sit on Yarbo.
  10. Temperature Limit: Do not operate Yarbo and its controller at temperatures exceeding 40°C.
  11. Snow-free Operation: Do not activate Auger and Impeller when Yarbo is not in the snow.
  12. Docking Station Caution: Do not touch any part of the Docking Station while charging Yarbo.


CAUTION:

  1. No Pushing or Pulling: Do not use Yarbo to push/pull any items.
  2. Payload Transport: Do not use Yarbo to transport any payload unless using the tow hitch provided in the package. Note: The tow hitch’s maximum towing capacity is 3,500 lbs.
