How to Install the HaLow Module?

Preparation

Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary components and tools:
  • Ethernet Cable
  • RTK Base with HaLow Module
  • Black HaLow Antenna for Rover
  • Black HaLow Antenna for Base
  • Battery Cover with HaLow Module (USB and Type C cable)
  • Yarbo app installed on your mobile device

Installation Steps

  1. Attach HaLow Antenna to RTK Base

    1. Locate the black HaLow antenna for the RTK Base.
    2. Screw the antenna securely into the designated antenna port on the RTK Base.


  1. Connect RTK Base to Router

  • Find the Ethernet cable included in your package.
  • Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the RTK Base.
  • Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into your router to establish a network connection.
Notes: It is recommended to install the RTK base station near a window, close to the working area, and in an open area without metal objects or obstacles to ensure the signal transmission would not be affected.

  1. Power the RTK Base

  • Connect the power supply to the power port on the RTK Base.
Note: The kit does not include a power supply for the RTK Base; please use the one from the previous setup.
  • Ensure the RTK Base is powered on and the power indicator light is illuminated green.

  1. Replace RTK Cable

  • Unplug the RTK cable from the existing setup of RTK base.
  • Connect this cable to the RTK port on the RTK Base equipped with the HaLow module.

  1. Power off Yarbo

  • Press the power button to power off the Yarbo.

  1. Remove Battery Cover

  • Carefully grasp both sides of the battery cover with your hands.
  • Remove the battery from the universal body.

  1. Unpluging the USB connector

  • Locate the USB port inside the battery compartment.
  • Unplug the USB connector of the physical controller.

  1. Insert the USB Connector

  • Locate the cable with the HaLow USB connector attached to the battery cover.
  • Insert the HaLow USB connector into the USB port.
  • Place the battery inside the universal body and secure the battery cover.

  1. Attach HaLow Antenna to Battery Cover

  • Locate the Black Halow Antenna for the rover.
  • Screw the antenna onto the battery cover.

  1. Power on Yarbo

  • Locate the power switch and press it to power on the Yarbo.

  1. Replace Base in the App

  • Open the app setting page
  • Click 'Replace Base' to initiate the process of replacing the base station, and follow the guide in the app to complete the network connection for the new RTK base.



Final Status Check

After completing the installation steps, ensure the following:

Both HaLow antennas are securely attached to the RTK Base and the battery cover.
The Ethernet cable is firmly connected to both the RTK Base and your router.
The RTK Base is powered on, and the power indicator light is illuminated.
The battery is securely in place, and the USB connector is properly plugged.
The RTK Base is connected to a Wi-Fi network. If all the above points are comfired, your HaLow module installation is complete and ready to work. If you encounter any issues, please refer to the user manual or contact customer support for further assistance.
