How to update the mower's software and firmware?

Update APP software

Please download and update the latest version of the Yarbo app through the app store. You can find the Yarbo app by scanning the QR code provided below or searching for "Yarbo" directly within the app store.

Update Yarbo firmware

New firmwares will always provide better product capabilities. The new versions will be released regularly, and your firmware will be updated automatically when your Yarbo is prepared.

How to prepare your Yarbo before proceeding to update firmwares

  • Keep Yarbo connected to the internet (please visit Yarbo FAQ - Network Configuration for connection help)
  • Make sure no working schedules of Yarbo are active within the next hour to prevent interruptions during the update process

Important Notes

  • The update will start automatically once Yarbo is connected to the internet, and typically completes within 15-50 minutes, depending on your network connection. Please be patient and wait for the firmware upgrade to finish.
  • During the firmware update process, it is completely normal for your Yarbo to flash four different colors, this is part of the update procedure.
  • The update is complete when you hear the message "Ready to Work" from your Yarbo.
  • After the firmware upgrade is complete, check the updated firmware version in Yarbo App — Settings. This step ensures that your Yarbo is running the latest firmware for optimal performance.
  • If your Yarbo failed to update or didn't receive the released update message, please contact us.
