Safety tips for charging and maintaining the mower's battery
The battery is a crucial component of the Yarbo, and its condition directly affects the operational efficiency and safety of the device. By following proper charging and maintenance practices, you can effectively extend the battery's lifespan, ensure the stable operation of the device, and prevent potential safety risks. To ensure the optimal performance and safe operation of your Yarbo lawn mower during use, correct battery charging and maintenance are essential. Below are detailed safety tips and related instructions for charging and maintaining the lawn mower battery:
Charging Safety Tips
- Use the Original Charger: Always use the original charging cable or charging station provided by the manufacturer to ensure compatibility and safety. Incorrect charging facilities can cause electric shocks, overheating, or battery leakage, leading to danger and safety issues.
- Avoid Contact with the Charging Station: Do not touch any part of the charging station while the device is charging to prevent accidents.
- Avoid Overcharging: Avoid charging for extended periods. Disconnect the charger promptly once the device is fully charged to prevent battery overheating and overcharging. Overcharging accelerates battery aging and shortens battery lifespan.
- Charging Environment: Charge in a dry, well-ventilated environment, and avoid charging in humid or high-temperature conditions. High temperatures or humidity can cause battery short circuits or other failures.Simultaneously,Charging Yarbo indoors is not recommended; lithium-ion battery packs can cause fire and explosion if it has been abused. Check your local regulation on charging lithium-ion battery packs for more information.
- Regional adaptation:By default, the voltage switch should already be set to your area's appropriate voltage setting when you receive Yarbo. If you reside in the United States, set the input voltage on the wired charger power adapter to 120V. However, if you are in the UK or France, set it to 230V.
Safety Inspection and Maintenance
- After each use, check the battery and charging equipment for any damage or abnormalities. For example, inspect the battery casing for any signs of damage, swelling, or leakage. If any abnormalities are found, immediately stop using the device and contact customer service.Avoid leaving the battery idle for extended periods. If the device will not be used for a long time, disconnect the battery and charge it for at least 15 minutes every three months to maintain battery activity. If the operating time per full charge noticeably decreases,it may be time to consider replacing the battery pack.
- Proper Storage: When storing the battery, ensure it is kept out of reach of children and pets, and placed in a dry, cool location. Avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments. Do not store the battery in excessively cold or humid conditions, as this can lead to decreased performance or damage.
