Where should I position the docking/charging station?
Before installing the docking station, it is important to make the necessary preparations:
Concrete & Brick Ground
| Grass Ground |
Impact Drill + Expansion Bolts
| Steel Nails or Grass Pegs
|
Next, to ensure optimal functioning of your Yarbo, follow these steps to determine the best location for your Docking Station (Do not rush through the first two steps!):
- Begin by navigating Yarbo through potential locations where you'd like to install the Docking Station.
- As you move Yarbo around, check the RTK signal strength on your APP. Try to select a position where the signal is displayed as "STRONG". This placement is most likely to ensure smooth operation.
- Rearranging the chosen location is equally crucial. It's important to ensure a clear space of at least 7 ft around the Docking Station. This spacious setup will help to prevent any signal interference.
- Be mindful of potential obstructions in this area. If Yarbo can't navigate back to the Docking Station due to blockages, it may not function properly.
This step-by-step guide is crucial for setting up your Docking Station in a location that will offer the strongest signal and cause least signal interference for your Yarbo.
Lastly, please ensure the docking station is stably installed on a flat and elevated surface using suitable instruments. This will prevent any slips while Yarbo is in the charging process.
Install the docking station on the grass. Install the docking station on the concrete ground.
