How to operate Yarbo on gravel or dirt surfaces?

First and foremost, we want to emphasize that for safety reasons, we do not recommend operating Yarbo on gravel nor dirt surfaces.

NOT recommended to operate on 'dirt' or 'gravel' surface.

However, we understand that some users may find themselves in situations where they need to use Yarbo on gravel. In such cases, here are our suggestions to ensure safe usage:
  1. Create an ice surface on top of the gravel to fully cover the stones. This will prevent the auger from throwing stones. Please note that the scraper bar may grind off the ice surface, so check regularly.
  2. Also, you have the option to adjust the default height of the snow blower module on the app. This is achieved through the use of adjustable skid shoes and a linear actuator, allowing you to raise the auger enough to avoid catching loose stones. Furthermore, we have implemented breakable shear pins to provide protection for the machine and its surroundings.
Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to send an email to support@yarbo.com.
