As snowfall approaches, we recognize the significance of both your safety and the efficiency of your Yarbo, particularly in challenging winter conditions. In anticipation of the snow, we've assembled this guide to assist you in preparing for and maximizing the effectiveness of your Yarbo.

Pre-Snowfall Preparation
  • Check all components of your Yarbo for any signs of damage, wear, or malfunction. Pay close attention to the auger, sensors, wheels, RTK, and docking station.
  • Inspect the power cord or battery pack for any fraying or damage. If you notice any issues, refrain from using the Yarbo until it's repaired or replaced.
  • Ensure that the battery of your Yarbo is fully charged to maximize its operational time during the snowstorm.
  • It is recommended to conduct a test run of your Yarbo in a controlled environment to ensure that all functions are working correctly.
  • If your Yarbo includes calibration settings tailored to various snow conditions, ensure you adjust them accordingly based on the forecasted snowfall and the terrain of your property. • Monitor the battery level of your Yarbo throughout the snowstorm to ensure continuous operation on the App.
  • If operating on rechargeable batteries, have spare batteries charged and ready to swap out if needed.
  • If you notice any irregularities or issues with your Yarbo's operation, such as unusual sounds or movements, intervene promptly to prevent further complications.

Post-Snowfall Maintenance
  • Inspect your property to identify any remaining snow buildup, especially in tight corners, stairways, or areas where the Yarbo may have missed.
  • Manually clear these areas to ensure safe passage and prevent potential hazards.
  • Gently remove any snow, ice, or debris accumulated on the exterior surfaces of your Yarbo using a soft brush or cloth.
