How to Draw Snow-throwing Directions to Maximize Efficiency?

In the mapping process, snow-throwing directions should be set for your pathway and work areas (including sidewalks), which guides the chute to blow snow in the direction(s) of your choice. While the setting of these directions largely depends on the specific layout of your driveway, there are some guidelines to help maximize efficiency.

General Guidelines:
  1. Please ensure that the snow-throwing directions span a minimum of 3.3 feet.
  2. Please set the snow-throwing direction to be as long and wide as possible.
  3. Please keep in mind that the lines indicating the direction of snow throwing do not need to be continuous; instead, they can be divided based on the specific conditions of your driveway or yard.

1. For a rectangular or rectangular-like working area, we recommend marking the two longer sides on the map as the snow-throwing directions. It is advisable to avoid choosing the two adjacent sides, as this could result in a more complicated algorithm around the corners, thus reducing efficiency.

2. For irregular working areas, we recommend marking the opposite sides on the map as the snow-throwing directions. It is advisable to avoid choosing the two adjacent sides, as this could result in a more complicated algorithm around the corners, thus reducing efficiency.

  1. For working areas that have designated no-go zones, we recommend avoiding drawing the line too close to the boundaries of the no-go zone. Doing so may result in Yarbo throwing snow into the no-go zone if it falls within its snow-throwing range, which will not be cleaned.
