When using the Yarbo snow blower module in thick snow conditions, the device is equipped with an automatic track slippage recovery mode to help it overcome obstacles and continue operating effectively.
How the Track Slippage Recovery Mode Works:
Detection of Slippage:
If Yarbo detects that it cannot move forward for more than 5 seconds in place, it determines that slippage has occurred.
Recovery Actions:
- Yarbo automatically raises the auger to its highest position.
- The device then reverses a short distance to reposition itself.
- Yarbo attempts to move forward again to pass the area where slippage occurred.
Multiple Attempts:
Yarbo will repeat the recovery process up to six times. Each attempt includes raising the auger, reversing, and retrying to move forward.
Failure Notification:
If all six attempts fail, Yarbo will stop, and the app will display a "Track Slippage" notification.
What to Do When the App Shows "Track Slippage":
If Yarbo cannot recover automatically:
- Manually intervene by clearing the snow in front of Yarbo.
- Ensure the path is free of obstructions and heavy snow that might hinder further progress.
- Once the area is clear, resume operation via the app.
By following these steps, you can help Yarbo successfully navigate through thick snow and maintain efficient snow-clearing performance.
